You’re Indirectly Committing A Crime If You’re Not Doing Any Of These Things

 Hi guys, what’s popping what’s cooking? Your baby girl is back with another interesting narrative for you.

How far, don’t be in a rush to read. You know, so you won’t miss out on the salient points intended for this post. As you all know, I like keeping it real, short and concise.

In order words, I won’t bore you with long talk that makes no sense so once again, calm down let’s dive in together.

First off, am only going to be specific based on the topic I what to discuss with you today, which will definitely surprise you. A lot of people has heard about this, in fact it’s an every day talk in the society but people seem to neglect it more than they think they don’t.

Before we continue let’s state the law from my country that makes you guilty of the above allegations (You’re indirectly committing a crime if you’re not doing any of these things).

According to the Nigerian Constitution, Chapter 2.Section 24. Duties of the Citizen.

It shall be the duty of every citizen to -

(a) abide by this Constitution, respect its ideals and its institutions, the National Flag, the National Anthem, the National Pledge, and legitimate authorities;

(b) help to enhance the power, prestige and good name of Nigeria, defend Nigeria and render such national service as may be required;

(c) respect the dignity of other citizens and the rights and legitimate interests of others and live in unity and harmony and in the spirit of common brotherhood;

(d) make positive and useful contribution to the advancement, progress and well-being of the community where he resides;

(e) render assistance to appropriate and lawful agencies in the maintenance of law and order; and

(f) declare his income honestly to appropriate and lawful agencies and pay his tax promptly.

That being said, I would like you to answer the questions below

First question

Are you marketing yourself ?

Second question

How well are you doing that?

Third question

Are you getting result in what you’re doing?

Then comes the crime, if you’re not marketing yourself, you’re committing a crime of negligence to yourself and to country at large.You’re not putting yourself and your community on the map neither are you making positive and useful contributions to the advancement and progress of the community. Meaning, you’re not carrying out your duties as a citizen of Nigeria.

There’re different ways of defining marketing that makes it sound professional and ideal. But personally, I think the simplest way to explain marketing is, any activity you do to promote your business, the product or services you offer. Everybody needs marketing, even as a person or as a country. We all need marketing to feed, build and maintain the economic growth of a country.

Whether you like it or not, marketing is what will put food on your table. Even in that job you’re doing, if you fail to prove yourself worthy of the job (marketing speaks for you, it says if you’re good or not), is either you get fired or probably spend years without promotion and salary increment. Like wise an entrepreneur, No marketing, no sales to low sales.

However, we all can’t do without marketing either ways. No matter how you want to put a twist to this narrative, there’s always a form of advertising involved to push the community forward. It can be online or offline but there should be an awareness campaign for whatever career path you venture into.

Ok, let’s discuss now in the comment section. If you’re not marketing, what’s your plan towards making it in this present economy. Please let us know, in case we’re missing something you’re not.

What We Call Indecent Is Actually Decent …

 Hi everyone, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, my lovelies and my cuties. I specifically welcome you all to my personal blog, the only number one branded personal blog in Nigeria if not Africa.

Come rain come shine, my people are always my people you know naa. My everything singular, you know what I mean. Am sure, you guys have missed me a lot but your baby girl is home. Anyways, let’s get down to business already before the gist …

Decent dressing refers to dressing in a manner that is generally considered respectful, appropriate, and modest according to societal, cultural, or personal standards. It often involves wearing clothes that are not overly revealing, fit the occasion or environment, and show respect for the norms and values of a particular community or setting.

The specifics of what is considered "decent" can vary based on factors like:

1. **Cultural and Religious Norms**: In some cultures, modesty might mean covering more of the body, while in others, it might be more flexible.

2. **Occasion**: Dressing decently for a formal event, workplace, or religious service may require different attire compared to casual settings.

3. **Personal Preferences**: Individuals have varying interpretations of what is modest or respectful, influenced by their upbringing, beliefs, and style.

Ultimately, decent dressing aims to show respect for oneself and others, blending personal comfort with a sense of appropriateness for the given context.

Here the stories comes

Having a class discussion that got me out of my closet to come say hi to my cuties was thrilling. I couldn’t keep this to myself so I had to come share and say a piece of my mind to my own lovelies including anyone that cares to …

Actually I copied the post above from the WhatsApp group Be you woman (It's an acronym for Bold eloquent youthful original unique woman ) that helps to build the lives of young girls. However, am honored to be the guest speaker for their weekly career building class on Wednesdays. You know, your baby girl is moving from grace to grace day by day and it’s all on God. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in being part of the platform or booking me for session.

Ok, let’s not deviate but am happy I shared the news with you guys shaa. Moving on, I was impressed with most people’s reactions on the topic and I was convinced that this generation are more of thinkers than any other thing we think they’re. The response was giving, you know. A lot of sense Dey there which actually aligned with my own opinion of fashion.

Some of the responses

I do believe there’s time for everything same as outfits for every occasion. My problem is when people over dress for a particular gathering. Example: wearing party wear to work or church like what are you expecting people to do or say. And mind you, people can be judgmental at times but you help them to do that when you over step your boundaries.

No doubt culture plays a huge role in shaping our minds when it comes to our fashion sense but “occassion” is the big fish here, like why will someone going for sports wear a dinner gown or someone going to church wear a swimsuit. Like it doesn’t make sense at all.

For me, I think everything boils down to the occasion and your comfort big time. Because culture diversity is real and you can’t judge people’s culture based off on your religion. The truth is, what we call indecent is actually decent in another person’s country or culture.

Moreover, I think there wasn’t anything like indecent dress before the religious war came on board but notwithstanding, things has really changed so no matter what you think about this topic we all need to respect each other’s opinions and beliefs.

In order words, this is where respect comes in.Whether you like it or not we will all still judge ourselves cause we’re human. So brace yourselves for that, whenever you decide to cross the line.

The Truth Bloggers Won't Tell You.

 Promoting your product as a business person is the same as promoting your content as a blogger. Your blog is your brand so you need to push it like every other brands. Invest in what you do and see the difference of running ads and not running ads.

As a blogger, I encourage other bloggers not to neglect digital marketing as a skill you need to make it in this industry. You don't just run ads, you need to know how to run ads, when to run ads and where to run your ads. These are the things you consider while running your ads.

You can take a course or buy a book to learn more if need but I will be giving one free tip for running ads as a bonus for my new book.

With the kind of content you create, you should know where to find your prospective audience right? The good thing is, you can easily find them on any social media platform that's why it's wise to share your content on all platform. Then the next thing on your mind should be how to convert your audience to traffic for your site. This is where running ads with digital marketing skills comes in. Your choice of words and sentence construction should be more appealing than your regular social media post.

Watch the video below to see the reasons why you need to start running ads as a Blogger.

Marriage Proposal Gone Wrong Episode One & Two

 Still in the spirit of new year, welcome to 2024. The year Nigerians decided to take it by force with the new slogan of the year, "No Gree For Anybody. Like play oo, this has become a trend in Nigeria that got the Nigerian police force to drop their opinion concerning this matter. No doubt, this also got a lot people to drop their take on social media. Guess what, your baby girl is jumping on this trend with a new story line that will get you glued to your screen

As always, I come with juicy and amazing gist for my cuties all over the world. This one is a marriage proposal that went wrong somewhere in the middle, you know. Just giving you a heads up before the actual story, I would like you to tell me what you think about the whole thing.

Ok, let's begin. I got a marriage proposal from my therapist few months before the Xmas holidays. Yea, I was surprised but I was like, anything fit happen when it comes to man and woman, you know. He initially asked if I was single and I said no. Ok, so he went on to say that he likes me and was interested in me. Ok, let's see how that goes.
You know, the calls were like, how are you doing, how was day, how was work, have eaten, etc just checking up on you. So this went on for about few weeks before the marriage proposal.
Like, I don't know you and you don't know me too well to get married to me. I don't even know how possible this is shaa. Boom, this is where Alpha marketing skills was needed to pull it off but something happened that made the job more difficult.

I asked him how old he was cause am sure he was older than me but I didn't know his exact age. Unknowingly, the shock I got was massive. Like why the F will I want to get married to someone way older than me like, am I desperate or what? Nah, this is not working at all. I can't imagine myself going through that kind of marriage. No, it's not going to work. He said, it's not a big deal, age it's just a number. Besides, a lot of women still get married to men way older than them and their happy in their marriage. The most important thing is being happy and living well with your husband. Am not a lot of women ...

Let's wait and continue in episode 2

Well, I would’ve written episode two as a different post but naa. I think putting everything together as one won’t be a bad idea since the story is a short one. You know what I mean.

Hi guys, my lovelies and my cuties, what’s popping? I mean what’s going on in your life that you would want to share with us. How’s life treating you, hope you’re ok like being ok for real, you understand baa? I know you guy’s have missed me a lot but am here to finish up what we started.

For the record, am not writing this to talk down on anybody besides we all have our lives to live. Our likes and dislikes differs so does the choices we make. In essence, we can’t all be the same and that’s what makes life interestingly beautiful. So chest whatever negative thoughts you have in mind, this is not a hate post period.

Sitting down and thinking about this story made me view it in another dimension that will redirect my opinion to be pointers for men. Honestly, I believe there’s always an exception for every rule, low key it happens but not for everyone. Ok, right now I would analyze my point using this story in a way that it will make sense to you.
