You’re Indirectly Committing A Crime If You’re Not Doing Any Of These Things

 Hi guys, what’s popping what’s cooking? Your baby girl is back with another interesting narrative for you.

How far, don’t be in a rush to read. You know, so you won’t miss out on the salient points intended for this post. As you all know, I like keeping it real, short and concise.

In order words, I won’t bore you with long talk that makes no sense so once again, calm down let’s dive in together.

First off, am only going to be specific based on the topic I what to discuss with you today, which will definitely surprise you. A lot of people has heard about this, in fact it’s an every day talk in the society but people seem to neglect it more than they think they don’t.

Before we continue let’s state the law from my country that makes you guilty of the above allegations (You’re indirectly committing a crime if you’re not doing any of these things).

According to the Nigerian Constitution, Chapter 2.Section 24. Duties of the Citizen.

It shall be the duty of every citizen to -

(a) abide by this Constitution, respect its ideals and its institutions, the National Flag, the National Anthem, the National Pledge, and legitimate authorities;

(b) help to enhance the power, prestige and good name of Nigeria, defend Nigeria and render such national service as may be required;

(c) respect the dignity of other citizens and the rights and legitimate interests of others and live in unity and harmony and in the spirit of common brotherhood;

(d) make positive and useful contribution to the advancement, progress and well-being of the community where he resides;

(e) render assistance to appropriate and lawful agencies in the maintenance of law and order; and

(f) declare his income honestly to appropriate and lawful agencies and pay his tax promptly.

That being said, I would like you to answer the questions below

First question

Are you marketing yourself ?

Second question

How well are you doing that?

Third question

Are you getting result in what you’re doing?

Then comes the crime, if you’re not marketing yourself, you’re committing a crime of negligence to yourself and to country at large.You’re not putting yourself and your community on the map neither are you making positive and useful contributions to the advancement and progress of the community. Meaning, you’re not carrying out your duties as a citizen of Nigeria.

There’re different ways of defining marketing that makes it sound professional and ideal. But personally, I think the simplest way to explain marketing is, any activity you do to promote your business, the product or services you offer. Everybody needs marketing, even as a person or as a country. We all need marketing to feed, build and maintain the economic growth of a country.

Whether you like it or not, marketing is what will put food on your table. Even in that job you’re doing, if you fail to prove yourself worthy of the job (marketing speaks for you, it says if you’re good or not), is either you get fired or probably spend years without promotion and salary increment. Like wise an entrepreneur, No marketing, no sales to low sales.

However, we all can’t do without marketing either ways. No matter how you want to put a twist to this narrative, there’s always a form of advertising involved to push the community forward. It can be online or offline but there should be an awareness campaign for whatever career path you venture into.

Ok, let’s discuss now in the comment section. If you’re not marketing, what’s your plan towards making it in this present economy. Please let us know, in case we’re missing something you’re not.

Case Closed

See you in my next post
