Being Broke Is Like Getting A Bit Of What Is Like To Be Poor: Symptoms of being broke from my experience.

You might not get what you're expecting to read but it all depends on you and what you have in mind, so don't be disappointed.
Also you're free to air your opinion on this especially when you think that this article is not in line with your own view.

Fine, I think am good to take off with what I want to write down which I will tell you what inspired me today to write this topic, meaning this is based on my present feelings and my past experience with what I have observed about poverty.
I have noticed severally, that any time am so broke tho I might have provisions and foodstuffs which I know doesn't really count as being broke to me because is not money. When I say broke, I mean no money on me both as cash and in my bank account or maybe having small...

A lot of things happen to me whenever am broke, let me just say being broke has symptoms unlike poverty because a person that is poor is kind of use to it and has conditioned his/her self to adapt to any circumstances tho it also has it's own characteristics. In fact,if I see myself sometimes feeling somehow(like feeling sick) or having mood swings without any major cause then I know is poverty that is the problem because of financial challenges.

You might be surprised that I used the word "poverty" on myself but it doesn't mean, it sounds funny and offensive but that's not my problem right now because am expressing my feelings. Looking at the meaning of poverty from Wikipedia, it means not having enough material possessions or income for a person's basic needs. May include social, economic and political elements. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty
This is to tell you that am being serious with this, besides we all must've experienced being poor or broke at one point in our lives or better still some are experiencing insatiable quest for wealth which is not a serious problem like mine( being broke). There must be a category you fall in, actually I will talk about these categories later in my next article, let me talk about myself.

Honestly, if you've never been truly poor or broke it means that you won't be able to relate or probably understand my feelings because you don't know what if feels like to be either poor or broke and how it affects a person's life that is far to hard to comprehend. https://www.moneycrashers.com/stop-feeling-poor/

Symptoms of being broke.
Hunger.
When you're broke, everything turns around like the clock is moving anti clockwise. There is always a drift from who you really are ( your personality) to what you are( your present situation). Being broke comes with the feeling of unquenchable sensation of hunger that doesn't easily go away which is also the same with being poor.

I took me time to follow my system, learning how it works for me based on this hunger issue.  Whenever am OK(not broke) there is this feeling of satisfaction that I get that makes me not to get hungry easily unlike being broke because I feel I can easily get what I want when am hungry since I have the money so most times is either I don't usually have appetite or I take small quantity of food, but that's the opposite when am broke.

Mood swings.
Ahh, this happens a lot to me because I will be feeling depressed, the thought that I can't afford a  lot of things especially to buy what I want to eat and then coping with increased hunger makes me have mood swings which I sometimes cry to easy off my pain.

Sickness.
This follows suit whenever I feel depressed. There is always a sick feeling when am broke even when am not technically sick. The constant feeling of not having enough talk more of not having at all is exhaustion in every way. This reminds me of what happened to when I was in school, during my pre science days at Mbaukwu. That period, I was damn broke but I couldn't tell my parents because I already used the mone

Always stressed out.
The daily stress that comes with living without money is totally poverty itself in an undefined way. Only checking my bank account balance or getting a debit alert makes me panicking, and gives me one kind of headache. This also explains the reason behind looking younger than your age, looking your age and looking older than your age.

Sincerely, being poor is more expensive than what you actually think even when it seems cost effective by trying to cut cost but is not if you're rational and not quite a lot of people notice that.
Being broke is like getting a bit of the thirst of what is like to be poor because there are not the same thing just that they're similar and have some things in common. Being broke is a temporal breakdown but being poor is a long term struggle for survival.

I know that feeling of "I have been rescued",and having the joy that knows no bound when I gets an unexpected money or credit alert especially when am broke so please I urge everyone of us to try as much as we can to help a neighbor in need by showing love and some act of kindness that can help lift the burden of financial challenges.
